It all started when…
After auditioning dancers, and working with industry professionals for decades, Luam, a prominent choreographer and creative director in NY found herself seeking to arm dancers with the information they need to establish a lucrative career. She'd trained top working dancers in the field and wanted all the dancers in her NY community to have access to the resources that could help them in such a competitive environment.
She first started Rock The Industry, a complete weekend immersion, MIND BODY and SPIRIT into crafting a successful career for the life of an artist, businessperson, and value based individual. RTI became a runaway success & won many accolades over the years. However Luam found herself wanting to reach ALL dancers with this life changing information, not just a few people in a room.
She then launched INDUSTRY 101, the first online academy geared to create masters of ready to take the Industry by storm. Open to all dancers who have 5+ years training in commercial dance and are advanced level dancers over 16yrs old.
INDUSTRY 101 is made of different intensives focusing on various aspects of the business important for being a consistent & happily working dancer. Luam has crafted a unique curriculum for each intensive that merges active seminars with commercial dance training & master classes.
